𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐑 𝐎𝐅 𝐇𝐀𝐁𝐈𝐓𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐁𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒Life is full of ups and downs, and it's all about habits. If you create a habit of always reaching for the best, then the best is yet to come. With that spirit, I have been traveling worldwide, and the past 10 years in Vietnam have changed my life. My career as a Hotel General Manager truly blossomed with my first role at the beautiful Tam Coc Garden. I’m, and always will be, extremely grateful for all the opportunities that came my way and the chances I created for myself.By the end of 2023, I felt it was time for a change. Whether it meant moving forward to a new adventure or eventually returning to Vietnam, I knew I needed a break. I needed to invest in myself and break the loop I was used to in order to reach the next level. That’s when I received an offer from Indonesia after posting on LinkedIn that I was ready to move. Since joining Plataran in early 2024, I’ve felt a deep sense of fulfillment.I feel like my mind, my experiences, and everything I've been through have led me to this point. Every professional and personal experience has shaped me into the person I am today. I feel more in control and happier to witness my growth. Let’s continue this journey and see where it goes, but one thing is certain: my consulting skills in hospitality management have proven themselves to be right.#PlataranBromo #HospitalityExcellence #Sustainability #GuestExperience #Leadership #NewBeginnings

Here's what Dong found:* Polite Sneezing - When you sneeze, expect a "bless you" and don't forget to say thanks. Politeness even extends to sneezes!🤪* Monday Meetings - Start the week by sharing your weekend adventures during our staff meetings. It's a great way to build connections. 📅* Western food does not mix many spices like in Vietnam. 🍱* Most people bring homemade meals, shared tables, and warm camaraderie. 🍲* ‘Don't bring work home.’ - A healthy work-life balance, with no work creeping into home life. 🚧* Slow and steady - Work slowly to understand the problem, not fast because of the deadline. 🪨* Take a nap on time. - Scheduled breaks to recharge and boost focus. 👣🌟 🌟 Have you experienced these cultural blends at a blending cultures office!? Share your thoughts and stories! 🌟 🌟 #SaigonAICulture #WorkLifeBalance #CulturalExchange

How would you handle unexpected changes in your plans? Like many Singaporeans, I recently went on a day trip to Johor. I spent time researching the places to explore and came up with an itinerary. After we explored the first destination, as we were driving to our second destination, I asked a question as I had heard about this place for a long time but was not familiar with it: "Is Kota Tinggi nearby and what's there to see?" My friend replied that it's not far from where we were heading and is popular for its waterfalls, and asked if we should go there. Being a nature lover, I said yes. This meant we had to change our plan. So we did some quick research on the places to visit in Kota Tinggi and then drove for over an hour to get there. The ‘best’ part was that when we arrived, the waterfall was closed, no longer open to the public (unbelievable, no mention of this when we did our research). 😮 So, we had to drive back for over an hour again to where we had originally wanted to go. When we got there, we were told the place was closed for visiting hours (it was only 4.45pm then). My goodness, not again! 😮 What could have been seen as wasted 2.5 hours of travel time became valuable lessons:Resilience: Disappointments are inevitable in life. The real test lies in our response – whether we persevere, maintain a positive attitude, accept setbacks as learning opportunities, and find alternative solutions, or whether we become stuck in frustration, engage in constant complaint, and remain in self-pity.Adaptability: Learning to adapt to unforeseen circ*mstances is key. Instead of insisting on rigid plans that no longer work, being open to adjusting plans on the fly helps navigate through unexpected challenges.Appreciation for the Journey: Amidst challenges, appreciate the journey itself, regardless of the outcome. Despite the ‘setbacks’, the day trip offered moments of joy, discovery, and bonding. Embracing the journey fosters gratitude. Sometimes, in spite of our best efforts, things don't go as planned. Learning to accept this reality is part of the journey and helps us navigate life's uncertainties with greater strength.#resilience #mentalhealth #malaysia

Malaysia’s largest city, national capital and primary global lure forms the perfect setting for tourists and business executives alike as a consequence of a diversity which can take you down the most naturally eerie of caves one second, and up the most impressive of manmade towers, the next. For the visiting business traveller, some of these wider connotations and repercussions can be lost of course, but at eye level, the significance and magnitude of the city is every bit as striking. From the towering Petronas and Menara KL structures to the winding cultural offerings of the city’s Chinatowns and markets – and every world-renowned eatery and bar in-between – Kuala Lumpur really does have it all.#businesstravelmanagement #travelmanagement #travelmanagementcompany #destinationmanagementcompany #corporatetravelmanagers #corporatetravelcompany #destinationmanagement #riskmanagementtravel #travelriskmanagementcompany #travelmanagementservices #leisuretravel
