Under the Radar Walkthrough - Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Guide - IGN (2025)

The Under the Radar mission drops you right into the Pantheon’s den, where you must sabotage their equipment. You’re free to complete this part of our Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 walkthrough in whichever way you prefer, but some sabotage methods are trickier than others.

Sabotage the Pantheon Defenses

Taking on Sev’s role following the Ground Control mission, take down the nearby soldier to obtain a disguise. From here, you can spot a Radar to the left, a SAM Site in front of you, and an Attack Helicopter to the right. Interact with all of these viewpoints to gain intel.

Next, leave through the hatch behind you and lockpick the door below. Turn left to enter the grounds with the Radar, SAM Site, and Heli. You must sabotage all three of them, but you’re free to decide how and in what order to do so. This walkthrough will show you the options.

Sabotage the Radar

Let’s start at the Radar, on the west side of the map:

There are three ways to sabotage the Radar. Here’s every option and their locations:

• Location 1: have a ‘nice chat’ with the man behind the window. It’s important to speak with him through the window - do not lockpick his door, as he’ll perceive this as a hostile action. You must click the ‘Keen Eye’ option, then interact with the monitor, radio, and clipboard. To successfully persuade this guard, choose the following dialogue options:
  • Code 11A.
  • It’s what Sgt. Whitman told me.
  • Run the Clutter Simulation again.
• Location 2: plant an explosive on the Radar Dish. There’s an explosive in the smaller building west of the one with the Radar (right of the main building in the picture below). If you have an explosive, use the ladders to climb to the Radar Dish on the roof. Only the very top of the roof is a restricted area. Sneak up to the guard and use ‘silent takedown’, then plant the explosive.
• Location 3: plant an explosive on the Radar’s power supply. Lockpick the grate door, then sneak forward and plant the explosive. This is a restricted area, so make sure none of the guards is looking your way.

Optional: Unlock the Secret Safe

Before you leave this area, you can explore the Radar building and open the hidden safe for $1,000. You must enter here:

Walk up to the next floor. This part can be a bit tricky, as you'll need to enter a secured area momentarily. Right at the start of the room, you'll spot the radio sitting on a table to the right. To the left, you'll see the safe behind a locked gate.

After tuning the radio and getting your code, you'll need to lockpick the gate. Just note that lockpicking is a restricted act, so make sure the guard next to the radio, or the guards inside the fenced area are facing you. Pick the lock.

Once inside, you're in a restricted zone, so grab the safe as fast as you can, and get back out. The safe will be to your immediate right when entering the fenced area.

Sabotage the SAM Site

Next, we’re headed for the SAM Site in the middle of the map:

There are two ways to sabotage the SAM Site: do the Warhead Swap, or plant an explosive.

Option 1: Warhead Swap

To do a Warhead Swap, enter this building and speak with the man behind the computer:

Choose ‘Keen Eye’ and interact with the clipboard, work order, and calendar. Give the following answers to the guard:

• They’re from Belarus.
• Their upgrade is scheduled for tomorrow.
• Their guidance chips, the GCX-78.

Walk further into the building and lockpick the door on the left (behind computer guy), leading to a restricted area. Stick to the left, passing the Jeep, and go into the next building here:

Sneak past the guard and grab the wirecutters from the table. Leave the building through the other door and go right, into this building:

The Warhead will be right in front of you. Use the wirecutters on the Warhead, sneak back the way you came, and speak with the man behind the computer again to complete the sabotage.

Option 2: Plant Explosive

The second SAM Site sabotage option is to plant an explosive directly on the missile. This seems more straightforward, but the many guards in this area make it difficult. It’s best to sneak through all surrounding buildings and take down the guards one-by-one, then leap up the missile launcher from the northwestern direction to plant the explosive:

Sabotage the Attack Helicopter

Finally, we must sabotage the Helicopter in the east:

There are three ways to do so: plant an explosive on the helicopter directly, pour water in the refueling truck, or convince the guards to load your explosive cargo onto the helicopter. Here’s how to do this:

Option 1: Plant an Explosive on the Helicopter

This may be the easiest option. Climb onto the rooftop circled in red (picture below) using the ladder (you can also pick up an explosive charge on this roof), then enter the doorway on your right and go downstairs. Be careful not to alert the guard! Sneak out the door leading to the Helicopter. When the nearby guards look the other way, plant the explosive.

Option 2: Sabotage the Refueling Truck

Beware that this option requires water, which you can find in the Radar Dish building. It’s on the ground floor in the non-restricted room.

Besides that requirement, this sabotage method is similar to the previous option; climb the roof and go down through the building. Sneak out so you’re face-to-face with the helicopter, but this time, go right and sneak towards the refueling truck in the corner. Hide behind it and use the wooden crates to climb up to its roof, then pour the water into the truck.

Option 3: Explosive Cargo

To load explosive cargo onto the helicopter, take the following steps:

• Location 1: place an explosive on the cargo (make sure nobody sees you).
• Location 2: grab the authorization from inside this building.
• Location 3: speak with the guard and show him the form. If you don’t have the form, use ‘Keen Eye’ and give the following answers:
  • French Foreign Brigade.
  • You left for your girls.
  • I just bumped into Captain Betzer.
• Location 4: tell the two guards next to the cargo that they’re good to go.

Use the Security Station to Locate the Cradle

Walk over to the Security Station, which is marked on your map. You can enter this building without trouble, but the room with the computer is restricted. Simply sneak in and use ‘silent takedown’ on the guard.

To solve the hacking puzzle, take a look at the numeral code in the upper left corner of the screen, then find the corresponding letter at the bottom. The word you’re looking for is ‘panoptes’.

Keep clicking through the camera screens until you spot Harrow (don’t worry, you can’t miss her). In the next action scene, shoot targets from the helicopter as instructed. Aim for the mortars specifically.

Capture Harrow

Together with your team, push through the Pantheon base. Beware that the fighting will start immediately after dropping down from the helicopter.

Go down into the tunnels. After splitting up, beware that the shooting will continue as you head into this tunnel:

Beware of the electric traps here. Shoot them from a distance to prevent injury.

During your dialogue with Harrow, be ready for a quick time event. This will complete the Under the Radar mission.

Mission Rewards

Completing Under the Radar is rewarded with a wallpaper/loading screen featuring Adler. You can also get the following achievements and a challenge reward:

• Consolation Prize: complete the Under the Radar mission.
• Skewer the Winged Beast: have the SAM target itself and the helicopter.
• Keen Eye (challenge): use Sev's Keen Eye Ability on all three Desk Guards.
